The Public Relations Officer of franchise holding company, Exclusive Events Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has described as wild allegations levelled against Inna Patty in the media as being extortionist and a pimp.

Inna Patty, owner of Exclusive Events (Miss Ghana Organisers) has been accused by some former Miss Ghana of dishing them out to men for monies.

About three of the beauty queens-Stephanie Karikari (Miss Ghana 2010), Antoinette Delali Kemavor (Miss Ghana 2015) and Giuseppina Nana Akua Baafi (Miss Ghana 2013) in a conversation with Ghanacelebrities.com said being part of the pageant is the most horrifying thing they have experienced.

The former Queens described Inna Patty as manipulative, rude and deceptive saying the pageant is not as glamourous as it appears.

But speaking on Ultimate Breakfast Show hosted by Lantam Papanko, Arnold denied claims that the queens were forced to sleep with men for sponsorship.

He claimed the queens do not go out on their own to seek for sponsorship saying the queens’ statements lack factual evidence which suggests that they were being pimped.

The PRO for Exclusive Events said its a normal practice for queens and organisers to raise funds which is an integral part of any pageant to better the lives of the queens and the society at large.

He further indicated that the funds raised are accounted for adding that the queens are groomed on how to get the sponsorship.

‘For us, these are very serious allegations, we take serious exceptions to the allegations that have been leveled this far. Over the period lots of people have been having the perception that beauty pageants are linked with extortion.

‘So for anybody to come out and make a bold claim that Miss Ghana is linked with extortion related activities, that is a serious allegation. The pageant does not deal with any related extortion activities. As far as I know, the ladies do not go out on their own to solicit for funds. Its a normal practice for beauty queens and organisers to seek for sponsorship,’ he explained.

He called on industry players to get to the bottom of the allegations which has the potential of killing Inna Patty’s brand calling on journalists and bloggers to be circumspect in their reportage.

Arnold suggested to Inna to come to explain her side of the story to the public saying he supports any investigations that will come up.
