Miss Belvy Ofori, Miss Tourism 2014, would on March 5 hold on a public lecture amidst games to empower young women in the country.
In a statement signed by Mr Victor Kwame Kafui Ativie, Events Manager of S-Prima and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) said the objective of the event is to bring young women together, empower them, and create a platform of fun and relaxation for the young women.
It added that through the charity event, young women from all walks of life would be convened at one destination for the purpose of networking, fun, sharing ideas and experiences, trading, and promoting a sense of belonging.
The event is to also help young women become self-confident and accepted in society without engaging in any vice or wrongful behaviours, it stated.
It said every female carry, in their womb, the hope of a nation adding that when women gather for a common purpose, there is enough impact to build a nation of purposeful people.
It further stated that in recent times, women hardly gather for the purpose of fun and networking, thus, making partnership with each other very scarce.
"The event day would be fun packed; women will engage in activities such as; ‘Ampe”, Tug of War, Pilolo, sack race, red carpet catwalk, photo shoot, karaoke, talent show, music bash, dancing and eating contests," it added.
The event comes off at marvels MiniGolf and club house, Dzorwulu at 10am and Admission is free!
