Matrix star to join Cruise in M:I-3

Carrie-Anne Moss has signed a deal to star in Mission Impossible 3 with Tom Cruise. The actress is familiar with action films after starring in three Matrix movies.

Moss has a leading role in the Mission Impossible sequel, in which Tom Cruise will reprise his role as secret agent Ethan Hunt.

Thandie Newton starred in 2000?s sequel M:I-2.

Production on the new film starts in August on location in Ghana and Berlin. Aiming for an August start date, C/W Productions has recently been scouting locations in Ghana and Berlin.

Moss is currently filming a drama about a troubled teenager with Jamie Bell.
