Ghanaian Hiplife legend Big Joe Frazier has shared his opinion on what he cites as ‘hypocrisy’ among many Christians in the country.
Speaking during an interview with Property FM in Cape Coast, he remarked that many sinful acts in Ghana occur after church services on Sundays.
“There is a popular saying that God comes first in whatever we do, so if someone wants to do something, they prefer doing it after church.
“Especially on Sundays, even if people have certain activities to do, they want to go to church first. I realized there was so much hypocrisy after church services.”
He revealed that this theory, gathered after observing people over time, inspired him to release his new single, ‘After Church,’ featuring King Paluta.
“After attending church services, that’s when people rain curses on others, and it’s after church that most sinful acts happen. I picked up the idea from all those angles,” he added.
“It took me a lot of time to compose the lyrics of ‘After Church’ because I wanted to create something that people would like and that would never fade away.”
