Controversial radio and television marriage counsellor, Reverend George Lutterodt has asked husbands and wives not to celebrate Mother’s Day.

According to him, Mother’s Day is not ‘husband and wife day’.

He made this observation on Class FM’s Executive Morning show yesterday May 16, 2017.

He explained that motherhood is one of the dysfunctional things God did in the life of fatherhood.

He noted that God disabled man to create a woman from the Garden of Eden when Adam could not live alone and asked for a help mate.

He said that, everything owned by a woman is from a man who gave her the opportunity to become a mother.

He was however not happy that fathers were not celebrated as much as mothers.

He advised men to celebrate their mothers while wives and children also do same for their mothers.

The man of God advised mothers who have grudges with fathers of their children to reconcile with them.

The Executive Director for Development Challenge, Alhaji Ibrahim said women need to be celebrated every day and not just a day.
