‘Happiness Is A Four-Letter Word’, a South African movie starring Chris Attoh will premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival this weekend.
The Berlin International Film Festival, also called Berlinale is one of the world’s leading film festivals and most reputable media events.
It is normally held in Germany, and started in 1978. Some twenty films compete for awards called Golden and Silver Bears.
Based on the award-winning novel by Cynthia Jele, it is a romantic drama that explores the lives of three best friends – Nandi, Zaza and Princess – living the good life in fast paced Johannesburg.
Khanyi Mbau, Mmabatho Montsho, Renate Stuurman, Tongayi Chirisa, Hlomla Dandala and Terence Bridgett also play lead roles in the movie.
It was directed by Thabang Moleya, and will premiere on February 19, 2016.
