The winner of the maiden edition of the Mr. World Ghana event, Nii Tackie Laryea would leave Accra today for the United Kingdom, where he is due to represent Ghana at this year’s Mr. World finals on June 15.

This is Ghana’s first attempt at the world event, which sees fierce competition from a good number of countries, who gather for a 16 days action packed series of events ranging from Talent, Sports, Extreme Challenge, Multi-Media, Fashion & Style.

Officials of Exclusive Events Ghana, organizers of the event, as well as some family relations, would see Laryea off at the airport.

The 23 year old beat a number of finalists in April this year to emerge winner.
