Sensational Ghanaian highlife artiste, Akwaboah Jnr, says people should stop thinking that musicians should have perfect relationships.

According to him, people have the perception that because most artistes write perfect love songs and pamper women in their music videos, that is what pertains in their real lives.

He said, on the contrary musicians actually suffer in their relationships that’s why you see musicians have children with several women.

In an interview with Cookie Tee and KOD on Starr Drive Monday, Akwaboah said, “most artistes are not as perfect as what they sing about. We might be talking about a forever love affair in our songs but in real life, we are suffering in our relationships."

"Because of this perception, people presume we are the best to be with. But when they come into our lives and realize we are different from our songs or not the perfect guy in the music they end up breaking up”

Akwaaboah Jnr, who broke up with his baby mama of 7 months, revealed that he had no peace in the relationship. He explained, “we were in the relationship for 7 months and I didn’t have peace so I have to let it go though we have a beautiful baby together”

He, however, compared his relationship to his new song dubbed, ‘Gangster love’ which is available on all digital online music shops.
