For most men, it is assumed, do not give much attention to fashion and grooming.

Nothing can be farther from the truth. However, they do care about their physic and how they look to colleagues and close friends.

They also worry if they are not up to standard on issues pertaining to style and grooming.

They are concerned as to whether they have enough muscles to attract pretty girls and worry if their wives still find them sexy or physically attractive.

Now, apart from the pursuit of good health, what other reasons, do you think make them spend much time at the gym working out?

Below are 10 Fashion rules for men.

Take note of the length and the size of your trouser : It is very wrong to wear a trouser which does not fit you and falls well below your shoes on the floor. Never attempt to sag your trousers, try to keep the length of your trousers below your ankles.

Avoid bright colored or shinny suits and blazers : You want attention to be directed at you not to your suit, you can use them on for night clubs and parties mostly on Fridays.

Ensure that your shirt sleeve do not go more than half an inch past your wrist when you are standing.

Learn the art of combining patterned shirts and solid colours.Your stripped shirt should go with a solid tie, a solid coloured or pattered tie, and your pin striped suit is better off with a solid shirt colour.

Never combine braces or suspenders with a belt. This kind of fashion is absolutely not acceptable. You need to either choose wear your belt or the braces, because they both perform the same role.

Use a cuff link that matches your shirt or tie or a natural coloured cufflink that will go with most shirts.

All the buttons of double vested suits should remain fastened. With double button suits only the top button is buttoned and the button below is left unbuttoned.

Remember that in case you wear long ties, it should end at your belt. Never below or above.

Also remember that the seat of the trouser you choose to wear fits appropriately. Seats that are small are tight and difficult to walk in and look gruff, while and overly long seat looks oversized and tacky.

To end it all, do not attempt to wear sports socks, especially white sports socks or light coloured socks with your dress shoes. It’s horrible to see a crossed leg with white socks glaring at you.
