My absence at KAFF Awards wasn’t deliberate - Mcbrown

Multiple awards winning actress Nana Ama Mcbrown also known as Empress has disclosed the reasons behind her absent at the recent Kumawood Akoben Festivals and Awards held in Kumasi last weekend.

Nana Ama Mcbrown in an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello FM stated that her absence at the events grounds was not deliberate.

She said there was inconsistency in the awards date that led to her missing at the event grounds. "The awards date was changed on two consecutive times so I wasn’t aware of the new date".

Nana Ama Mcbrown, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, Akwasi Boadu(Akrobeto) Rose Mensah Kyeiwaa, Vivian Jill, Mercy Asiedu, Agya Koo, Naana Hayford Domfeh, Matilda Asare, Maame Serwaa among others were absent at the awards night at Golden Tulip Kumasi City.

Nana Ama Mcbrown explaining further about her missing told Dave Hammer that, "I was even in Kumasi the very date the awards was going but wasn’t informed about the new date by the event’s organizers, so my absents was not deliberate.
