My acting career broke my home – Ekow Blankson

Ghanaian actor Ekow Blankson has revealed that his commitment to his acting career caused a break in his home.

Known for his great acting experience in acting, Blankson told SVTV Africa he deeply regrets his past mistakes for not paying much attention to his home.

He advised couples to give a balanced attention both to work and family.

“I put a lot in work, although it has brought me where I am today it broke my home.” Ekow Blankson sadly revealed.

When asked why he did not put in enough efforts to put his family in good shape, Mr. Blankson stated that “trust had already been broken and there was nothing that could be done.”

Speaking on recent acting skills of young film makers, the Managing Director of TV Africa said they are bunch of jokers.

He stated that there is no reality on the screens when it comes to acting these days.

“Personally, our new actors are just jokers, there’s nothing exciting and real about their work.” Ekow Blankson stated

Ekow Blankson’s role in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s directed ‘Checkmate’ earned him a Best Actor nomination at the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) and Best Supporting Actor at the Ghana Movie Awards.
