The quest to know the name and father of Ghana’s sensational musician Mzbel’s new baby has popped up again and the speculations have shifted into another gear.
Mzbel, apparently aware of the speculations personally revealed that her new baby is called ‘AARON’ in an interview with Confidence Haugen when she attended the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) a fortnight ago.
She however insisted she would not mention the name of the young boy’s father when Confidence asked her the boy’s full name.
Aaron is Mzbel’s third child but her first biological son.
Ghanacelebrities.com has released exclusive photos of the naming ceremony of Mzbel’s Aaron and reports that the off-camera event took place on May 11, at the International Central Gospel Church’s Doxa Temple in Accra.
According to the site, the naming ceremony was officiated by Rev. Josh Laryea and was attended by a few big names in society including Prof Ken. Attafuah, Mzbel’s Dad, Mr Albert Amoah and her mother.
“For the first time, it felt weird, it felt like I was getting married and I even shed tears,” the celebrated musician was reported to have said at the event.
Arts writers have gone wild with speculations on who the boy’s father may be and several big names are being mentioned but NEWS-ONE would hold on to the names until some evidence is gathered.
What is however clear is that Mzbel was not impregnated by her former manager, Maxwell Mensah, who is currently in a love relationship with pretty faced actress Nana Ama McBrown.
Mzbel already has two children, 11-year-old John and five-year-old Yullan.
Mzbel, no doubt, is a celebrated singer who has a special gift for courting wild controversies. She is still coming out of her running battles with several media houses and journalists.
It could be that she does not understand how to handle her media relations or the media simply does not understand her.
Whatever the case may be, she is sweet singer, a show-stopper, a celebrated musician with a huge fan base and the latest mother in town.
We say congratulations to her.
