Actress Jackie Appiah has cleared the air about earlier reports circulating on social media that her house had caught fire.

In a Facebook post, a colleague of the actress, Chris-Vincent Agyapong indicated that the main building that caught fire was a cinema Jackie Appiah had built on the compound.

"I just spoke to Actress Jackie Appiah. She says her main house did not catch fire as some are reporting. It’s a cinema she built on the same compound that caught fire," he said.

He added that the situation as speculated on social media isn't as severe as reported.

According to him, the Ghana National Fire Service was able to quench the fire from causing more damage to her property.

"...that was not even serious as it was dealt with promptly. She is fine and chilling" he added.

Earlier today, a viral video was circulating on social media, that actress Jackie Appiah's house has caught fire, while the actress is out of the country.
