Famous hiplife artiste and Chief Executive Officer of Nhyira City Night Club and Money Go Flow Music, Nhyiraba Kojo, has refuted claims that his music career is dead. In an exclusive interview with Prince Kwesi Dadzie aka Mr. Handsome; the musician noted that he is still into music.

He said, ‘’my career is not dead. Some people are also of the opinion that, a musician is one that releases songs. But that is not the case. A vocalist is a musician, a guitarist is a musician, a backing vocalist is also a musician.

You do not have to release songs before you become a musician.’’ Nhyiraba Kojo indicated that you cannot depend solely on music when you fail to add business to the craft.

He said, the wealthy musicians in the world today are those who ventured into other businesses so they are able to survive. The musician also told the host event organizers don’t pay musicians what is due them when they perform on their shows because musicians are their friends.

In his view, musicians in Ghana performs ‘’sympathy shows’’ due to the relationship they have with event organizers. He stressed, ‘’I do not want to be a beggar and so I have ventured into other businesses so I can survive.’’ He described Shatta Wale as a musician who is always tagged as an arrogant artiste due to his business mindset.

He said, ‘’Shatta Wale will not perform at sympathy shows and because of that, he is tagged as arrogant. He is not arrogant but a businessman and will not allow anyone to cheat him.’’
