MzVee shuts down Accra with The Re-Vee-La-Tion concert

MzVee stepped out in style and shut down the whole of Accra live from the Accra Mall, as she launched her Re-Vee-Lation album, with a spectacular concert.

The buzz for the ReVeeLaTion concert has been going on for some time despite some quarters expressing mixed feelings based on the fact that MzVee’s solo career is barely a year old. The talented songstress however defied all odds with the unprecedented move.

Yesterday the usual Accra-Tema motorway traffic jam seemed to be at an all-time high, and it appeared like the whole of the city was heading in one direction; The Accra Mall. The stage was set for the Re-Vee-La-Tion concert to go down and over 5000 people showed up.

The performances lived up to expectation as artists such as Lil Shaker, Bard man Tinny and young talented Jayla set the tone for MzVee to get on stage and thrill the fans.

MzVee also rubbed shoulders with fellow artiste who seemed to have paved the way for the likes of herself, getting on stage with Efya for a soulful performance, Stonebwoy who rocked the crowd, Shatta Wale who connected with the masses and VVIP who made the crowd take a selfie . There were also a ton of other artiste that came by to show love, including Okyeame Kwame, Stephanie Benson and Gyedu Blay Ambolley

One thing that caught my eyes on the night was the stage and set design, that appeared original and professionally down, with a composition of LED screens, impeccable lighting and a giant “V” that signified that it was indeed MzVee’s time.

The show has been reviewed by the streets and other critics and it's being taunted as the best album launch ever and requested a Re-Vee-La-Tion tour.
