Dancehall artiste MzVee set the auditorium of the National Theatre ablaze when she took to the stage to perform at the finals of the MTN Hitmaker Show Wednesday evening.

On her return from the 2016 BET Awards, the songtress mentioned being inspired by Beyonce’s performance and it seems she has taken a page out of the diva’s handbook.

Starting off surrounded by a group of well-choreographed dancers. MzVee stepped out to impressive fireworks as she made her entrance with recent hit single ‘Make I Shine’.

The crowd was more than excited when the reigning VGMA Artiste of the year EL surprisingly mounted the stage to perform his verse in the song.

MzVee then proceeded to jam the audience with some of her hit songs which included Bokor bokor, Come Over and Mensuro Obia.

In the spirit of being on a singing competition platform, she performed live Beyonce’s ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ with the Patch Bay Band, which she perfectly pulled off.

‘Hold Me Now’ which won her the Female Vocalist Of the Year at the 2016 VGMA’s was equally performed to perfection as well as ‘Natural Girl’ which has some what become her signature tune was fondly received by the audience as they sang along.

She graciously crowned the whole performance by inviting KiDi the past winner of the MTN Hitmaker Show as they both wowed the crowd with two beautiful songs.
