The fight against the deadly coronavirus is not over yet. Due to the upsurge in the coronavirus case count in the country, the government has called for strict adherence to the safety protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.

In outlining the measures to help safeguard the lives of Ghanaians during this pandemic, the government instituted the mandatory wearing of face masks, social distancing, frequent washing of hands with soap under running water, application of alcohol-based hand sanitizers among others to fight the virus.

Contrary to this, embattled Chief Executive Officer of MenzGold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1 together with his entourage was seen moving about without observing the COVID-19 protocols outlined by the government during the unveiling of Zylofon Music new artiste in Accra Friday, June 12, 2020.

NAM 1 was also spotted shaking hands and having chit-chats with guests and some celebrities in the crowded place.

The event saw some top celebrities, including Stonebwoy, Zynnel Zuh, Joyce Blessing and Edem in attendance.

NAM 1 has been shut from public gatherings since the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission halted his Menzgold Business.

He has been hardly seen in public since ’s his return from the UAE where he was arrested and detained following a botched business deal.
