Ghanaian fashion designer and actor Elikem Kumordzie has called on patrons to appreciate the works of the Creative Arts Ministry under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
The Big Brother Africa finalist who rallied solidly behind Ex-President John Dramani Mahama during the election period noted that so much was accomplished in the creative arts industry under the rule of the NDC regime.
In an interview with Joy News, he noted that the ministry, which was headed by Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare and her deputy, Dzifa Gomashie - was created by the past government should be acknowledged.
The star who is popularly referred to as "the tailor" said, “the creative arts industry profited so much from the past government so it’s not like it is now Nana Akuffo Addo wants to do something with that ministry..."
"If they didn’t do anything at all, at least they formed the ministry and we benefitted, gained and profited so much even to the point where we felt needed and important now in the country.”
