Nana Mitch and Schardo Mitch recapture humble beginnings in 'From Sefwi to Accra' documentary

The Mitch Brothers The Mitch Brothers

Every year, the Mitch Brothers (MBs) celebrate their birthday milestone by releasing an artistic masterpiece. This year, they return with a deeply personal story, presenting “From Sefwi to Accra” as part of their much-anticipated MB27 celebration.

Set against the theme, “The toil that inspired the journey to success,” this is a story of grit, hope, and transformation inspired by the life of their mother, Paulina Gyabeng aka Porna.

“From Sefwi to Accra” chronicles the struggles, losses and triumphs that define her legacy. At 23, Paulina faced insurmountable odds, including the untimely loss of her mother and the destruction of her livelihood. Yet, her steadfast determination to support her twin boys became the seed that propelled them toward a destiny steeped in creativity and success. “Her story is at the heart of everything we do,” shares Padmond Annor. “Paulina’s strength reminds us that the hardest roads often lead to the most beautiful destinations.”

The journey begins in Sefwi but does not end there. The Mitch Brothers invite viewers to relive the toil, dreams and sacrifices that inspire the path to success. The docu-drama highlights the twins’ eventual passion for creative storytelling and achievements as the Mitch Brothers. Produced by Padmond Annor, directed by Padmond Annor Jr., and co-directed by Onyamepe Opoku-Agyemang, the film beautifully bridges the past and present.

“From Sefwi to Accra” inspires success, proving that hope can thrive even in adversity. Celebrate MB27 this year with a story honing resilience, love and the journey to triumph.
