Yaw “Nana Nimoh” Boadu was born into a Christian family with his twin sister and younger brother in Kumasi – Ghana. He started singing when he was just an infant. Nana Nimoh in his tender age used to observe his grandmother sing gospel songs with such passion and much understanding all the time, it encouraged him to join a music group called “Melody Singers” with his twin sister at Light House Assembly of God church, Kumasi. He also listened to popular gospel musicians like the Tagoe Sisters, Rev. Yawson, Daughters of Glorious Jesus and many others. All this inspired His dream of becoming a great gospel artist one day.
He moved to the USA precisely Atlanta-Georgia where he couldn’t hide His God giving talent as a Gospel musician. He wasted no time in joining the church choir at Jesus Power Assemblies of God Church. He leads the church choir in praises, worship and other song ministrations on numerous Sundays and everyone sure felt the presence of God whenever he took charge of the microphone. Not only does He sing in different churches but also in gospel concerts, weddings, and many more memorable occasions. His great gift allowed him to minister of the platform of many great men of God from all walks of life.
He was introduced to Pastor Frank Ababio also known as Wofa Yaw Boakye Dankwah who helped nourish his gift and helped in producing his first album titled ‘’Big God’’. The launching of His very first album is to be held at Jesus Power Assembly of God in Atlanta – Georgia. Special guests to bless the occasion will be; Willie and Mike, Living Voices, Nana Adwoa, Jason Serrano, Nana Yaw Ofori Atta, Nii Addo and many more.
I believe that not only Ghanaians but people across globe will support this great album.
