The Minister of Information, Nana Akomea has announced that his sector is spearheading the establishment of a National Film Board to inject decency in the distribution, sale and exhibition of films and videos in the country.
Consequently, the Ministry is drawing up a film development and classification bill for the consideration of Parliament.
He said the Bill was part of government?s efforts at easing public reservations, disquiet and anxieties about the poor quality of films shown in the country in recent times.
Nana Akomea disclosed this when he launched the activities marking the Silver Jubilee Celebration of NAFTI, themed ?Film and Television Training in National Development.
