Dancehall singer, Shatta Wale

Internet users have chastised self-acclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale for mocking Sarkodie unprovoked in a video shared on X, formerly, Twitter.

Shatta Wale, in the said video, was heard bragging about his success and riches.

He reiterated that he is the richest musician in the country and boasts of owning multiple buildings; however, despite his money, he would never buy expensive cars like a Lamborghini, Bugatti, or Rolls Royce to impress anyone.

He referenced how his colleague musician, Sarkodie, has been mentioning Panamera, a sports car, in most of his songs and mocked the rapper for suggesting that Panamera is his dream car.

Shatta Wale then proceeded to question people who look up to Sarkodie.
Shatta Wale’s comment did not sit well with most netizens, as they questioned the need for the dancehall act to name drop Sarkodie.

A majority of viewers who commented on the post advised him against always starting up issues with his colleagues without provocations. While others admired him for his ability to remain relevant and trending at all times,.

The duo, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, once best of friends, have had a very sour relationship in the last few years.

In the last two years, they have each released a diss song against one another, although they have maintained in numerous interviews that they are brothers and have nothing against one another.
