'New Generation’, a youth magazine show on TV Africa that tackles issues pertaining to the everyday life happenings and trending issues among its target audience will tomorrow, September 13, be discussing ‘Modern Fashion Trends’ at 11am.
According to the host, Arnold Mensah Elavanyo, “Africans as we are, we do have our style of fashion but looking at the current fashion sense at events, streets and work places.
One may ask, is it possible to keep to our cultural fashion style and rather improve on them or we have been influenced greatly by western culture that it can’t be changed?"
He further explained the topic for tomorrow’s discussion, “do we even like the current fashion trends? Where do we draw the line between personal comfortability and societal standards in our way of dressing? What is indecent dressing?”
All these and more he noted will be discussed on tomorrow’s episode of New Generation.
On the Entertainment segment with Elavanyo, he will be interviewing international award-winning poet, Oswald Okaiteye, who will be receiving a World Poetry Theatre Ambassador Award at the 4th World Poetry Canada International Peace Festival in October.
