Organisers of the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards are close to announcing the new date for the event, almost a month after it was postponed.
This year's event was originally scheduled to come off on Saturday 28th July at the Accra International Conference Center, but had to be postponed until further notice, following the untimely death of President John Evans Atta Mills.
With the burial and funeral service of the late president officially over, organisers of the RTP Awards, Big Events Ghana, have hinted that they will be disclosing the new date for the event by Tuesday.
Speaking to the media, Prince Mckay, said the team are still meeting and contemplating on a date. He said the final date will be decided on Monday and communicated to the press the following day.
Mr. Mckay added that there will be new promos released for the new date.
