Ghanaian rapper and businessman Nhyiraba Kojo has shared an incident where an officer from the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) called to harass him regarding the success and sales of his club, Nhyiraba Kojo City Night Club.
During an exclusive interview with ZionFelix in the UK, Nhyiraba Kojo mentioned that the GRA officer contacted him to inquire about taxes and question the sales he had previously mentioned his club generates.
Despite informing the officer that he consistently pays his taxes, the officer indicated they would be conducting an investigation into his wealth sources.
Nhyiraba Kojo said, "I had a conversation with a tax officer who mentioned that I had stated people come to my club to purchase drinks worth 2000 pounds and 3000 dollars. I assured him that I comply with tax regulations."
He went on to express his concerns about the situation, wondering if the scrutiny was due to his success as a young entrepreneur.
Feeling worried and shocked, Nhyiraba Kojo questioned, "I was taken aback. I couldn't understand what I had done wrong. Is it because I am a successful youth?"
The rapper recently made headlines following allegations of being closely associated with Hajia4real in business ventures.
