Hiplife artiste and business magnate Nhyiraba Kojo has indicated that he will not attend the funeral of his former pal Castro if his body is not found.
He argues that claims that Castro could be declared dead in absentia if there is no evidence that he is still alive after seven years are ”frivolous” and complete ”hogwash”.
To him, until Castro’s body is found and duly identified, he will not going to attend any ceremony that seeks to declare his former friend legally dead.
”I’m not going to attend any ceremony or funeral if Castro’s body is not found and properly identified. Those who think they can declare Castro dead should have a rethink because he is going to return to shame his detractors,” Nhyiraba Kojo pointed out in an interview.
He continued, ”There’s no evidence that Castro is dead, so why are they in a rush to declare him dead? There are people who have traveled for more than 30 years without contacting a relative or friend, so what do you say about such individuals too? Do you declare them dead?”
Saturday, July 6, 2019 marked exactly five years since Hiplife artiste, Castro, and his female friend, Janet Bandu, went missing during a jet ski cruise at the Ada Estuary in 2014.
Since their disappearance, a good number of people, including Castro’s musician friends, have expressed their certainty that he is alive and will return someday.
Nhyiraba Kojo, however, seized the chance to advice the youth to cultivate the habit of good spending and saving habit.
”If you want to form a saving habit, you must consistently spend less than you make. Cultivating a saving mindset and habit requires abandoning a spending mindset,” the musician added.
He revealed that his journey to riches started after releasing his first single, when he made lots of money and decided to invest it.
‘All investments involve some degree of risk and I wasn’t afraid to do so. You don’t need to be an expect in a sector before you can invest. Yours is just to apply the right business principles, so the youth must get that,” he stressed.
Nhyiraba Kojo has over the years, released several hit songs, including ”Ehye Wo Bo”, Ebola, ”Yaayi” and a host of others.
He can today boast of his own restaurant – one in Accra and the other in Takoradi; a clothing line, and fleets of commercial cars that ply from Accra to Takoradi and back, every blessed day.
He is arguably one of the richest musicians in the country.
