Stonebwoy has refuted claims that his music has not penetrated well-enough into the Nigerian market.
The dancehall artiste tagged himself as “popular” in Nigeria although there is the assertion that he receives low patronage in the country.
“We’ve been throwing bombs and missiles and its germinating. Nigeria knows Stonebwoy. Let nobody deceive nobody. Get the information on the ground and you will know. Nigeria knows Stonebwoy from way back when he won the BET in 2015, did a song with Banky W, Tekno, Davido and Burna Boy,” he established.
Stonebwoy’s ‘Anloga Junction’ Album, released on April 24, 2020, features the likes of Zlatan Ibile, one of Nigeria’s most influential young artists.
When asked whether his reason for featuring Zlatan was to help break into the Nigerian market, Stonebwoy answered by saying;
“I featured Zlatan because he has the vibe and the song is called critical. He is a nice and humble guy,” he added.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy’s Anloga Junction Album features the likes of Keri Hilson, Alicia Harley, Kojo Antwi, Nasty C, Zlatan, Jahmiel and many more.
