2016 BET Award nominee, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda better known by her stage name MzVee, says she have never been moved by any female dancehall song.
“I do enjoy songs from the dancehall genre but with the females, there is none that I would say is my favourite. I can sit back and enjoy one of Shatta Wale’s songs and I can go really CRAZY.”
When asked if she thinks AK Songstress is the next big female dancehall act, MzVee said, “I’m not trying to be hypocrite but I will tell you that everybody is the next big thing. It could be anybody tomorrow that is why I’m not sure of what to say.”
According to her, when it comes to music, she does Afropop, Dancehall, R&B and that makes her a musician not only a dancehall diva.
Speaking on Delay’s Show, MzVee revealed that she wouldn’t like to be restricted to a particular genre because she does all sorts of music.
Following her ‘beef’ with Kaakie, the 2016 VGMA best female vocalist disclosed that she has no aversion towards Kaakie but on ending the interview Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay), the host recommended that she talk to Kaakie after the interview, since Kaakie was sitting behind her and waiting for her turn.
The video captured her (MzVee) walked quietly behind her ‘rival’ after the show.
