The boards of directors of the National Theatre of Ghana and the Planning committee of the Accra International Children?s Arts Festival-KIDDAFEST have suspended the 2005 show.
This is to help repackage the programme to make it more attractive to both local and international artistes and patrons.
According to a release by the chairman of the Interim Management committee, Mr Michael Attipoe, stakeholder consultations were still ongoing and that the programme would be repackaged for next year.
The release said there would be changes in the programme, which would be aimed at addressing some shortcomings that were witnessed in the past.
Over the past ten years, KIDDAFEST has provided a platform for child artistes and other arts professionals to express their talents through music, dance, drama, oratory and other forms of artistic expressions.
