No Tribe back on MTN Ghana Stands In Worship Concert

No Tribe No Tribe

The second MTN Ghana Stands In Worship concert is scheduled for October 10 at the Accra Sports Stadium and the No Tribe group will be there once again with their vibrant gospel music.

Led by Nacee and Lord Osei, No Tribe was one of the several acts that dipped the audience into a real worship mode last year. They came on just after the main act, Donnie McClurkin had finished his set and was about to leave the venue.

The great American artiste was, however, said to have decided to stay on for the full No Tribe presentation after hearing only a few minutes of them on his way out of the stadium.

“We decided to have No Tribe again on the show after consulting numerous gospel music fans across this country. The group has a big fan base and they all wanted to see them again on that big platform,” said Kojo Soboh, Events and Promotions Manager at Imajin Advertising, the company partnering MTN to organise the show.

No Tribe sources also indicated that they were happy to be part of the programme again and would give patrons a good show with material from their three albums: The Altar, Three and One God.

The concert, according to the organisers, is a moment for Ghana to rise in worship of God for His mercy on this country.

The main artistes for this year are William McDowell from the United States and Sinach from Nigeria.

Other Ghanaian acts billed to feature at the concert include Selina Boateng, Tagoe Sisters, Ceccy Twum, Boadiwaa and Joe Mettle.

Supporting sponsors for the concert include Pepsi, Best Western Hotel, Footprint TV and Sign Language.
