Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has tooted his horn concerning his BHIM concert held in 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In an interview with 3Music TV, Stonebwoy stated that no other artiste in his class has achieved such a feat without sponsorship.
“The stadium was full to capacity. The production was from my pocket. I know the amount of dollars that I spent to fill that capacity. No artiste in my class has done that yet. The 40,000-seater capacity was filled to 55,000 plus,” he declared.
He further noted the absence of sponsors on stage, highlighting that the event was done without sponsorship and was a personal investment he made.
Stonebwoy expressed his belief that artists like himself need to speak out about their achievements and contributions to the industry.
"It's some of us who have to be speaking. It's just because we don't like to speak. We've left it for some people who feel like they are in the industry and they are personal and I'm speaking from my heart," he said.
