Accra, April 6, GNA - Nokia Face of Africa, a model scout initiative, is still on the look out for true African women with unique indigenous qualities to participate in the contest.
Interested candidates must possess a rare mix of African personality and natural beauty interlaced with attitude and character. At a press conference in Accra on Thursday, Vicky Cursham, a London based Model Management Executive and one the judges, said: "An Africa beauty cannot be completely described but it can been seen." She said the contest was not a beauty pageant but a model show in which beauty alone would not be a determining factor but a combination of innate display of elegance, talent and incredible features. Females within Sub-Saharan African between 16 years and 24 years old and at least 1.74 meters tall with a maximum hip of 36 inches are qualified to enter.
Twelve fortunate ones would be selected after successfully going through all the processes and then committed to the elimination stages. The winner would go home with 150,000 dollars and consequently sign a model contract with a top model company in the United States of America to build her career.
