Nominations open for e.TV ‘Most Influential Awards’

e.TV Ghana has announced that it has opened nominations for the 4th Edition of Ghana Most Influential Awards.

The Ghana Most Influential Awards is an annual event organised by the local television station to recognise Ghanaians who have made great impact on society throughout the year.

This year, the station is soliciting and receiving nominations via different channels.

A statement issued by the Global Media Alliance and copied to Ghana News Agency on Friday said the public could nominate someone via text by simply texting ‘NOM’ with the person’s name to 1724 on all networks or 1824 on Airtel.

Nominations could also be received on e.TV Ghana’s Facebook page and Yfm’s Facebook page, as well as on a dedicated website for the awards: (http://mip.asp-i.org), while designated people would be going round the streets to collect nominations from members of the public.

According to the statement Mr Ernest Boateng, Managing Director of Global Media Alliance, owners of e.TV Ghana said ‘The Ghana Most Influential Awards’ is one of the prestigious awards ceremonies which recognises deserving personalities in the country for their outstanding contributions to development.

“As a television station committed to celebrating achievement and excellence, we are passionate about inspiring Ghanaians to keep up with the good contribution they make to building a strong nation.

“This is an opportunity for every Ghanaian irrespective of who they are, to nominate an individual they believe has impacted Ghana positively,” he said.

Past winners of the Ghana’s Most Influential awards included Cardinal Turkson, Mr Joseph Siaw Agyepong, and Chief Executive Officer of Zoomlion Ghana as well as Mr Roland Agambire, Chief Executive Officer of Agams Group of Companies.
