Ahead of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) National Executive Elections, the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the Union, Evans Kwaku Atwere known as Bono Dehyie has rated the President of the Union Bice Osei Kuffour 98% in his four years term of office.
According to him Bice Osei Kuffour known is public life as Obour has done tremendously well in the growth of the union.
“Am not doing campaign for Obour but per what he has been doing and has done for the MUSIGA, I will rate him 98 out of 2% and the reasons why I deducted 2 % is that he is a human element he can’t be perfect always ’’, he said.
“Ghanaians must do away with the tradition of refusing to see anything good about their Leaders. The are persistent attempts by some industry players and entertainment pundits to trivialize the creditable performance of President Obour administration,” he said
Bono Dehyie the Ashanti Regional Scribe of MUSIGA appealed to Ghanaians and Musicians across the country to have faith and confidence in the current administration and to continue to show understanding and support for its policies and programmes.
The Musician Body on Monday July 27, 2015 opened nominations for persons who are interested to vie for any position at the National level.
About 150 delegates will converge at the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua on October 29 to either retain current president Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour) or elect a new one and other executives -.
Speaking as a guest on Ashh fm entertainment zone last weekend, Evans Kwaku Atwere said, under Obour’s tenure the image of the musician body has been upgraded to a high esteem.
Evans Atwere said in spite of the challenges the President faced since he took over , “his performance in office is far better than a pass mark,” and appealed to Ghanaians to evaluate the gains made so far.
When asked to mention the things that Obour has done so far that he thinks he merit a second term in office, he said,

The MUSIGA Ashanti Regional Secretary added that the Union has commenced negotiations with Estate Developers, FLYCOTEC Limited to acquire lands for self-housing and other projects for musicians.
