Rapper Pappy Kojo's wish of having a more meaningful relationship with his role model, Obrafour seems to be coming true as the pair linked up on Thursday.

The Fante rapper is a self-professing staunch fan of Obrafour who always boasts of being able to sing all of his songs.

He idolises Obrafour to the extent that he once bowed and lied down when the two met. In a recent interview, however, Pappy Kojo painted a bleak picture of their relationship saying his attempts to reach out to Obrafour since last year had been futile.

“I am a little bit upset with Obrafour [but] I have kept quiet for so long but I have to say it.

Obrafour has been ignoring me for a while, he doesn’t pick my calls, he doesn’t reply my text messages, [and] I don’t understand why he is doing that”, he cried.

But just two days after the revelation, Obrafour reached out to Pappy Kojo and the two performed at the Institute of African Studies in an event to honour Ghana's first President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

Obrafour shared the performance with Pappy Kojo who he referred to as his son.
