Veteran hip-life musician, Obrafuor, has stated that there is no conflict between Sarkodie and himself.

In a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, the rap musician was reacting to rumours that his latest release ‘Kasahari’ is an indirect attack on Sarkodie.

According to Obrafuor, he helped build Sarkodie’s career, hence maintains a cordial relationship with him.

Speaking on Hitz FM, he told Andy Dosty that those spreading such rumours are simply being mischievous.

“I see those things are distractions. I don’t know why people think that I am the author of the song so I conceived that concept.

If there is any confusion somewhere I thought they will come to me to ask. The mischief is always too much. I think people don’t understand me…” he added.

Obrafuor further stated that the lyrics in the ‘Kasahari’ song are meant to praise Sarkodie, and not to harm his career.

In the song, part of the lyrics sought to indicate that in the same way Jesus Christ was revealed to the world by God, Ghanaians discovered Sarkodie through Obrafuor’s efforts.
