Multiple award-winning gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy begun her "Praise Break 15" campus tour concert at the University of Ghana, Legon on Sunday, October 11.
The gospel musician with support from the Ohemaa Mercy Ministries organised an event to lead the students before the presence of God and break chains as written in Acts 16:25-27.
The gospel rock show organised to start the Mensah Sarbah Hall week celebration experienced over an hour powerful performance from the musician known for countless hit songs.
Few minutes into her performance, Ohemaa Mercy invited radio and TV presenter Jeremie Van-Garshong to share to the many students who had gathered at the event grounds her testimony of how God saved her from the world.
The Live FM presenter broke down in tears after recounting some of the worldly things she engaged in many years ago.
For more than ten minutes, Jeremie was on her feet sharing her life experience to win souls for Christ. After a touching story from the renowned broadcaster, Ohemaa Mercy continued her herculean song ministration.
She entertained the students with most of her hit songs to their satisfaction. The Legon students requested for more exciting performance from “Wofiri Mu” singer after she left the stage but the show had to end due to time constraint.
Other gospel musicians who performed at the kick-off concert for the "Praise Break 2015" concert were Kinz Kid, Kojo Tuffour, Naa Mercy, Chosen Vessels Choir and many other powerful gospel ministers.
Ohemaa Mercy Ministries holds the next "Praise Break 2015" campus concert in Cape Coast before the end of October.
