We all know that Quophie Okyeame has acted quite well over a long period of time, and people don't really know what to make out of his Akyeame group break up.

On ATV last weekend with “Anigyekrom” show host Sokoo Hemaa, the composer, producer who doubles as the drive time hosts on the popular radio show “Away Bus” on Rainbow radio revealed his music group mate Okyeame Kwame made up his mind to go solo and do his own thing way back in the States when people made him feel like he was the “Christ” of the group Akyeame.

He said basically it is Ghanaians that broke the Akyeame group.

According to him little did these people know that he (Quophie Okyeame) was the foundation on which the group have been built because he wrote almost all their hit songs, produce and mix them before they come out.

“In the States then I had a recording studio where I record up and coming acts in the States to raise money for our music projects.

So I advised Kwame to also come up with a music video studio so he can also make money out of that and also take care of our video projects only to realized he (Okyeame Kwame) and Natt (a friend in the State) have also built a recording studio somewhere without my knowledge. I’m not saying this to disgrace kwame but I felt betrayed.” he disclosed.

The artist who is currently working on a gospel album coming up soon alongside a Television series from his Emklan production camp revealed he felt betrayed but decided to let things go so they can both move on with their lives.
