Okyeame Kwame, also known in the showbiz industry as Mr Versatile launched his latest album ‘Made in Ghana’ Saturday evening at +233 Jazz Bar and Grill.
The night which featured other artists such as Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Wiyaala, Afriyie from Wutah group, among others was filled with beautiful tunes.
Poet, Nana Asase was also present to treat patrons to some good spoken word.
Speaking to the media at the end of the event, Okyeame Kwame revealed that ‘Made in Ghana’ was his most important album so far as it sort to promote Ghana as a whole.
He urged Ghanaians to always seek the good of the nation in everything they do.
“If you’re a politician and you’re about to take a bribe to sell out our resources to some people, think Ghana. You’re a doctor and someone is dying, and you want to be paid before, think Ghana. You’re a rapper and you’re making mundane music, sexual songs every day, destroying the children, think Ghana. Everything that you’re doing, please put Ghana first,” he stated.
The ‘Bra’ hitmaker added that he wants to use the new album to improve the Ghanaian culture, improve trade and build nationalism, all in the next three years
