Sante and Sir, children of Ghanaian rapper Okyeame Kwame, have hit the recording studio for a new project.
Although very little is known about the song, reliable information picked by Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com indicates the single is a part of a huge project that will see the kids engage in reading sessions which will be shared across various social media platforms.
When released, the song will be their second after making a debut in the March 2017 single Saucing.
We are unable to tell if the new single is in anyway connected to Okyeame Kwame’s recent appointment as a read ambassador by the Canadian government.
In a number of posts on Instagram, Sir Kwame Bota appreciated his father for guiding them through the recording of the song. He said “Thank u daddy for guiding us #waitforit #worldreader#readwithme #read”
On September 1, 2018, Okyeame Kwame was appointed reading ambassador by the Canadian Government.
The Canadian government through the Canadian Organisation for Development through Education (CODE), a Canadian Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in partnership with Ghana Book Trust made the ‘Rap Dacta’ a reading ambassador.
The purpose of his appointment is to use his hulking great influence to drive their new campaign dubbed ‘Read With Me.’
