Okyeame Kwame's latest "African Connection" album out soon

After campaigning against Hepatitis B, Okyeame Kwame is working tirelessly on a whole new musical project which aims at bringing Africa together with music.

Known for his versatility, one of Ghana’s finest musicians, Rap Doctor after 16 years in the music industry is coming up with a whole new phase of musical album titled “African connection”.

The 16 track album he said is going to feature 16 renowned African musicians from all over Africa.

In an exclusive interview with Joy news Gladys Osei Owiredu, he says: “My new album is called African connection, and it features sixteen great artistes from all over Africa. I believe that it is only musicians that can do what the politicians can’t do with Africa. That is bringing them together”. He added that through music they will help bring Africa together.

According to the rap doctor, the “African connection” album features the likes of HHP from South Africa, NAVIO from Uganda, JAGUAR from Kenya and J.Martins from Nigeria.

“The African connection has already started and is yet to be completed”, he said, adding that Demos have been sent to some artiste and the replies from them, have been encouraging.

Okyeame’s Nigerian counterpart J martins left Ghana not long ago after recording his part of the song “Try another time” on the African connection album. He advised upcoming artiste to be focused, saying, “it’s not all about the money, fame, drinks and women. It’s about you being focused and respectful that’s the only way to become a successful musician”.

The sensational Nigerian artiste J martins added that he is excited about his collaboration with Okyeame and entreats all Africans to look forward to it.

Meanwhile Okyeame Kwame says he is waiting for the producer of the track “try another time” EL who is currently shooting a music video at Nzema to come back. Then the long awaited song will be out.
