'Oldies' & 'Youngies' Clash At Boomerang

The argument as to which generation possess the better style in music today will be put to test this evening at the Boomerang Nite Club.

It has often been argued by the older generation that the current form of music is not enjoyable due to the fact that real musical instruments have given way to simulated and computerized equipment. The youth on the other hand claim that they prefer the current trend to the old because it meets their desire for fast but simple forms of music.

Beginning today and every Friday some leading DJs in the country will be at the Boomerang Night Club to play both current and yesteryears' music genre. Unlike the usual night club DJ's preference for combining current and past songs to the delight of patrons, this time round the idea is to set the DJs to compete against themselves. The aim is to determine which music type wins on any particular night.

The programme, which is a collaboration between Boomerang Night Club and T.T. Brothers, distributors of Maracuja wine, will run for a period of one month during which several patrons would be rewarded. The five best dressed patrons on each of the nights would receive several products from T.T. Brothers.
