Building a professional career, and of course a successful one in a sector that is relatively unusual to a specific group of people is a very daunting task. Such is style coaching in Ghana — a field of empowering people in personal development, self-exploration, among others where one resolute Ghanaian leads the way.

This is the story of Ghana’s only professionally trained style coach Nancy Adobea Anane affectionately called Ms Nancy who has carved a respectable career in the sector, in the country.

She has endorsed “one corner”, a viral song by Swedru based artiste – Patapaa as the best for the ‘woman on all four and man behind’ lovemaking position, popularly called doggy-style.

Perhaps her favourite, but the style coach stressed that it falls in rhythm and gives coordinated thrust that can go with the flow of the “one corner” beat.

This somewhat confirms the notion held by many, including Pastor Kumchacha and Minister Soni Badu that “one corner” is evil and promiscuous.

The renowned TV sex therapist and style coach, Ms Nancy further advised couples to attend to their canal aspects of life and enjoy their bodies – and appreciate the holiness of sex.

She said, couples should spice up their love affairs with music to set the mood right. According to Ms Nancy Adobea, a song like “one corner” is best for doggy style and so couples should try it.

Ms Nancy is the co-host of Ghana’s number one adult relationship talk show called Duvet – which shows every Thursday on GHOne TV and DStv channel 361.

Speaking on the show during a discussion on the topic, sex and music, celebrated highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena who was a guest on the show said music has a big role in love making but people should play love songs for love making.

“Play gospel music for gospel events and love songs for love making” – Kwabena Kwabena stressed.

Sensational Ghanaian female singer, Akosua Agyapong who was also a special guest on the show reiterated that, Ghanaians need a reorientation to be able to embrace the best of romance in lovemaking. Duvet is rated 18 plus, co-hosted by award winning radio and TV presenter, Giovanni Caleb.

Ms Nancy Adobea is a graduate from the Style Coaching Institute in the United Kingdom. The renowned style coach also advised that people should be mindful of what they watch on TV and shouldn’t copy everything they see on it because the make-up, hair, clothing etc. are done just to suit the lighting aspect of cinematography and make it appear well.
