Popular preacher, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has waded into the brouhaha concerning the recent hilarious rap verse of Ghanaian rapper Patapaa.
Rev. Owusu Bempah has slammed rapper Patapaa for his new hilarious rap verse that has gone viral.
According to the founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Patapaa's recent rap verse termed 'Skopatomana' is noisy.
In a video that was sighted by YEN.com.gh, Rev. Owusu Bempah descended heavily on Patapaa as he rubbishes his new hilarious rap verse.
While talking, the controversial preacher man applauded some musicians, claiming that they are fond of releasing good music.
After applauding Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Amakye Dede, and Daddy Lumba for being the ones recording good music, Rev. Owusu Bempah jabbed Patapaa.
"There are some songs that are irritating when you listen to it. Such song is a recent one by Patapaa, it is so noisy and very senseless," he slammed.
His jab towards the 'One Corner' hitmaker got his congregation laughing to the floor.
At a moment when Patapaa is receiving a lot of accolades for such a hilarious verse, it is surprising that Rev. Owusu Bempah did not find ‘Skopatomana’ interesting enough.
In a recent interview, Kawoula Biov, the musician who featured Patapaa on his song funnily retorted that he needs to drink two gallons of ‘akpeteshie’ to be able to rap the skopatomana verse.
Meanwhile, Kawoula Biov revealed that it took him six months to convince Patapaa so he could feature on the track.
Kawoula Biov noted that Patapaa during the period gave him the excuse that he was busy and could not record at the time.
He disclosed that after Patapaa recorded his version and the song was produced, some of his friends got angry at Patapaa's verse.
Many of them were of the view that he should go back for his money since Patapaa's verse was not meaningful.
He however expressed joy that he did not listen to his friends but rather promoted the song which has made him popular now.
Kawoula Biov admitted that even though Patapaa's verse was somewhat meaningless, it helped the song to go viral.
