One of Ghana’s foremost media personality Abeiku Santana was on Saturday, March 9, 2019, honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to excellent journalism and broadcasting in the country.
The PAN African Executives Awards Summits 2018 recognises and honours Africans who have made a great impact in media and the business world. The award show was held at the Accra International Conference centre with a tall list of the connoisseurs from different business backgrounds, Chief Executive Officers and more.
Dr Kwame Osei Despite – Founder of the Despite Groups of Company, was honoured as well as his company and the managing director, Fada Dickson. The same company for which Abeiku Santana has been working for many years now as the Drive Time host on Okay FM and also the host of Atuu on United Television.
Abeiku Santana used the medium to touched on the need for PAN Africanism and why Africans have to unite under one umbrella going forward into the future. He spoke on issues like inter-country border closure within the ECOWAS regions, using the same passport and more.
He reminded the audience of the visions of the first Ghanaian President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah to make Africa a great continent to handle its own affairs smoothly.
