Afro-Pop singer, Becca on the 20th of December, 2013, wrote another history in the world by bringing out different shades of beautiful damsels from all works of life to her annual “Becca GIRL TALK concert” which was held at the National Theatre in Accra, Ghana.
Though the two previous editions had seen performances from M.I, Samini, Kwabena Kwabena, Herty Borngreat, Trigmatic and Nana Ama McBrown; and special appearances from celebrities like Funny Face, John Dumelo, Majid Michel, D Black and K.O.D.
This year’s came in a different toss of the coin as Paulina Oduro kicked started with her Azonto dance steps which sent the crowd into joy. Kese was simply marvelous with his sleek voice as he sang. King Ayisoba and Trigmatic didn’t hesitate when they were called to “Push”, on the song which features the trio.
Nana Ama McBrown exploded from her shell as usual and gave the cheering crowd a super dose of what they worth. Her energy has never been questioned and yet again she brought the bookmakers to a standstill in unison knowing that she is evergreen.
Kwaw Kese’s moment gingered all those who thought they had had enough for the Xmas. His combination with Lil Win was an ensemble great.
Actors Van Vicker and Lil Win were among the surprise package for the night and for a fact, they never disappointed as everyone flowed with their mini drama which was accompanied with applause all night
The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Miss Dzifa Gomashie led a high delegated women body to come have fun on the night, as well as gave a very thoughtful advice to those present.
Stacy who was MC for the night did a yeoman’s work by keeping the waiting fans who had already stayed out late past their bedtime because organizers again didn’t keep to their promise of starting on time (a spell that most event organizers have not yet had a clue to in terms of breaking its jinx).
The event started about two hours behind schedule, but when it finally did, the free flow of happenings took over.
Fans were asked to make the night an all African wear affair, and the full to the brim auditorium really brought out the sparkle in the attendees.
This year’s ultimate girl’s night out comes as one of the biggest pre-Christmas party for Ghanaian ladies, hopefully next year will produce another atmosphere of bliss.
