Pam Official features Article Wan on new single 'Parara'

Pam Official, Ghanaian versatile singer known by her sensational song Lowkey, Boboand Do Me today releases her first song for 2019.

The song titled “Parara” comes off her incoming “Red Eye” EP as it features “Solo” hitmaker Article Wan. Article Wan is also behind the production.

Pamela E. H Darko, known as Pam or Pamela, arrived on the Afrobeats scene in 2017 with a hybrid form of Afropop, R&B, and American Pop music.

Born and raised in Dansoman Accra, Ghana, the singer/songwriter moved with her family to the New York/ New Jersey tri-state area when she was 8. She was formally introduced to music in this area, which has produced musicians such as Whitney Huston, The Isley Brothers, Akon and many more. In 2013, she established herself as an Afrobeats artist and opted to leave the world of Nursing when she was sought out by Afrobeats producer Peeondabeat.

Though she has a Nursing degree from the University of Miami, and a degree in Media from the Goldsmiths University of London.

Her first encounter with music began when she started playing the violin in elementary school and bass throughout her collegiate years.



She furthered her music career while attending Goldsmiths by performing with the Orchestra, and various performing groups.

She honed her vocal skills through auditioning at several notable events, and her unrivaled success in music is evidenced by her selection for national and states choirs in the US. In 2016, Pamela signed with Peeonthebeats, 576Muzik, as part of the producer’s mission to extend the reach of Afrobeats globally.

Pamela made a name for herself as a solo artist with the release of her first song, “Low Key”, produced by B2. The song received rave reviews and massive airplay, leading to the recognition and affirmation of Pamela as a talent on the rise.
