Pastor Jumps Over Court Fence Wall

Pastor Andy Atta Antwi has shocked a crowded District Magistrate Court at La, in Accra. He did not only fail to stand and face his accusers in a defilement case, but raced with the speed of an athlete and expertly jumped over the fence wall of the court premises. Pastor Andy Atta Antwi was in court last November 23, to defend himself in a fraud charge levelled against him at the Magistrate Court.

When he got hint that a search team, led by an Inspector from the Teshie Police Station was on the court premises to effect his arrest for the case of the defilement, he quickly descended from the storey building. Sighting the father of the alleged victim, one Mr. Joseph Kwatey Quartey with the search team, the popular pastor felt his hours as a free man were numbered. Immediately, he took to his heels and all the shouts for him to stop could not convince him.

Realizing the irate but bemused crowd could block his way at the gates, the pastor veered off to the fence wall and in one swift move, scaled it expertly. But the police and the crowd were so taken aback that they could not give him any more meaningful chase. The crime chief at the Teshie police station disclosed that they would not relent in the search for him.
