Peter Okoye pays tribute to defunct pop group, Styl Plus

Styl Plus is the well-loved all boys group which emerged and rocked the country in 2004 with his songs like ‘Olufunmi,’ ‘Call my Name,’ ‘Run Away’ and others before fading away in the late 2000s, breaking the hearts of many of their fans including Peter Okoye of P-Square.

Made up of Zeal, Tunde and Shifi, the now defunct Styl Plus group won many hearts with their cool looks and beautiful hits before they went solo and nolstagic Peter Okoye, while going down memory lane tweeted: "Just saw (some) of der videos… To be honest these guys are so talented. Still missing this wonderful group till date… #StylPlus".

Many people wondered what happened to the group after their sudden disappearance from the entertainment scene.

Their refusal to relocate to Lagos from their base in Abuja, and internal dissatisfaction within the (seemingly) hitherto tightly-knit clan may have attributed to the group’s collapse and it is not something Peter, and thousands of their fans, are happy with.
