A sizeable number of models, friends and well wishes were in attendance when the late boss of the Exopa Modeling Agency, Ibrahim Sima was buried yesterday in accordance with Islamic tradition. Sima died on December 5, 2014 after suffering an injury following a football game while serving a jail term at the Nsawam Prisons in the Eastern region. He was laid to rest at the Tema Community 9 Cemetery. The Exopa Chief Executive Officer was sentenced to 15 years by an Accra Fast Track High Court in September 2011 for possessing and attempting to export 4.9 kilogrammes of cocaine concealed in four tubers of yam. He is credited with reviving the modelling industry in the country leading many young people to adopt the work as a profitable source of income. Observe the photos.
